Hi there! I’m Jenrette, and I’m thrilled that you stopped by! Grab a cup of coffee and take some time to get to know me!

I genuinely feel that love is the most glorious and powerful thing in this world, and I try to capture that in each and every image I take. Photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and I feel so fortunate to be able to do what I love for a living.

I adore dramatic, romantic images, but I’m most drawn to the real moments, the fun moments, and the happy moments. I fully believe your partner should be your best friend, and I love capturing the genuine smiles and love and intimacy that come with that. I have a knack for bringing out that true emotion, and pride myself on my ability to capture the spirit of who you are.

I'm here for you from our first contact through your wedding day. Whether it's referring other vendors to talking through timelines, helping bustle your dress to keeping you laughing during portraits. I am more than your photographer - I want to be your friend!

I started my photography journey in 2010, and have been photographing weddings since 2014.

how long have you been a photographer?

When shooting digitally, I use Nikon camera bodies, paired with Sigma and Nikon lenses, as well as the appropriate lighting setup when necessary. When shooting film, I use a Pentax 645 and Mamiya 645 medium format film cameras.

what kind of equipment do you use?

I want to get to know each and every client I capture. Let's grab a cup of coffee or lunch, my treat! I'm always available to chat over the phone too!

Once we chat and go over all the details, I require a signed contract and a 25% retainer to reserve your date. I do offer payment plans to work with everyone's budget!

Do you remember when you were growing up, the kind of camera you used to capture images? Where you had to put a roll of film in, send it off to be developed and then get prints back. That is what I mean by film - not a movie, but physical film. I fell in love with film in 2016, when I was trying to set myself apart from everyone else. The skin tones, the colors, the tried and true. Film calls for a slower pace, and it pushes me as the photographer to think outside the box, to think about the image I want to capture, and to freeze the emotion in front of me. I fell in love with the process in the fall of 2016, and have been hooked since.

what do you mean, film?

Long story short, one of my earliest and dearest memories is sitting on the sofa in our living room growing up, and flipping through my parents wedding album. No matter how many times I looked through it, I felt like I found something new I loved each time. Fast forward a few years, and I pushed myself to apply for a position as a photographer for our yearbook in high school. I got the job, and a dream turned into reality. Now, I continue to take a variety of photos - weddings, portraits, sports, horses, commercial work, etc. I feel so blessed to be able to do what I love every day. I want to become friends with each client I have, and be able to be the best I can be to capture whatever event brings us together.

why did you become a photographer?

Yes! I've photographed weddings throughout the state of Georgia, the Southeastern USA, and even travel to Arizona each year. I love to travel and explore new places, and I would love to follow you wherever your heart leads us!

I am a newly married girl myself! I know exactly what you are going through with all the planning and stress, and girl let me tell you, wedding planning is not easy! But I promise you, it will all be worth it in the end!

I finally got to call this man my husband on September 29, 2018! He's a switchboard wireman and is my absolute best friend. While I'm not photographing a wedding, you can find us camping, traveling, spending time in the mountains, or with our pup Tux!

I believe the marriage is greater than the wedding day

We are proud parents to the most adorable German Shorthaired Pointer named Tux! He is a wild man, but he also happens to be the best cuddle buddy I could ask for! We got him soon after our engagement, and our little family wouldn't be complete without him!

Bradley is training him to be a hunting dog for upland birds (pheasants, quail, etc). It is so amazing watching these dogs work, and their natural instinct to point is spectacular! And yes, he has his own IG account - @tux.the.gsp - go give him a follow!

kind words

Jenrette shot our September wedding on Tybee Island as well as our engagement photos back in December 2017 and we LOVE her! I love that she gives the option to build-your-own package, which gave us the flexibility to book her for only what we needed rather than having to pay for a lot of extra fluff. Jenrette is professional and knows how to get the most stunning photos, but she's laid back enough that it feels like one of your friends is shooting. I felt at ease around her for both our wedding day and engagement shoot and she had a positive attitude for everything I threw her way (cold sunrise beach photos, blazing hot sun on the beach in September, etc.) The sneak peek photos she sent us for our wedding are to die for and I cannot wait to see the rest. I would definitely recommend Jenrette, in fact, I have already sent another Savannah, GA bride her way!

There are not enough words to express how happy I am with our wedding pictures! They are awesome! Jenrette and Bradley were wonderful to work with and the finished product is amazing! We also had our engagement pictures done last December and we loved those, too! It was great to find an affordable photographer that takes beautiful pictures! It was also pretty cool to get them back a month after our wedding. Thank you, Jenrette and Bradley for capturing our wedding day in Eastern North Carolina!
